S. Alexander Berlucchi is a partner in the Firm’s healthcare practice. He focuses on representing clients on matters related to healthcare law and corporate compliance, specifically: contracting and contract disputes, telehealth and other compliance issues, use of artificial intelligence (AI), confidentiality and security requirements, regulatory matters and professional corporate formations (PCs and PLLCs). Mr. Berlucchi prepares formation and operating structure agreements for use by healthcare entities as well as individual providers. Mr. Berlucchi also provides representation for corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and labor law matters. Mr. Berlucchi works with a variety of healthcare clients, both organizations and individuals, and his practice includes providing guidance for compliance with federal and state statutes, rules and regulations, including but not limited to the following areas: use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, Civil Monetary Penalties Law, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act of 2009 (HITECH). He also provides guidance on corporate governance matters and has represented clients in the establishment of healthcare practices, including medical spas.
Mr. Berlucchi is a graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief for the Law Review, and received his undergraduate degree from The University of Scranton, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He earned a Master of Health Administration degree from Pennsylvania State University, Harrisburg.
