Olivia Brown is an associate in the Firm’s Trusts & Estates and Elder Law & Special Needs Practice Areas. She counsels clients on various aspects of trust and estate matters, including estate planning and administration, elder law and wealth transfer planning. Ms. Brown regularly assists clients and families with establishing wills, powers of attorney, health care proxies, living wills, revocable living trusts, irrevocable asset preservation trusts, and supplemental needs trusts. She also engages in special needs planning and handles Article 81 and Article 17-A guardianship matters.
Ms. Brown has a genuine love for the elderly, which was her driving force to pursue an undergraduate degree in Gerontology from SUNY Oneonta. She is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s most sensitive transitions. She approaches each client with empathy, striving to provide clarity, comfort and long-term security through thoughtful and individualized solutions.
Ms. Brown is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law where she obtained an Estate Planning certificate. During her tenure at Syracuse Law, Ms. Brown served as the Form & Accuracy Editor and an Editorial Member of the Syracuse Law Review, Vice President for the Class of 2023 Student Bar Association, and was a fellow for Elder Law Restorative Justice. Additionally, she was a legal extern with SUNY Upstate Medical University Office of General Counsel.
Ms. Brown is admitted to New York State and is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association and the Central New York Women’s Bar Association.
