Whitney M. Kummerow and Mary M. Miner are Promoted to Partnership at Hancock Estabrook, LLP
January 19, 2018, Syracuse, NY Hancock Estabrook, LLP is pleased to announce that Whitney M. Kummerow and Mary M. Miner have been elected to the Firm’s partnership.
Whitney M. Kummerow is a member of the Firm’s Labor & Employment, Education, Municipal and Startup & Emerging Business Practice Areas. She counsels both public and private sector employers in all types of labor and employment-related matters including employee litigation; compliance with applicable labor laws; labor-management relations; development and implementation of employment practices, policies and handbooks; and managing employee performance issues. Ms. Kummerow is a regular lecturer on topics including transgender issues, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and employment liability.
Mary M. Miner focuses her practice on providing regulatory compliance counsel to health care and human services entities under various New York State and federal laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, Civil Monetary Penalties Law and HIPAA. She is a member of the Firm’s Health Care Practice Area and regularly assists clients with formation and operating approvals, governance documents and other compliance and licensure issues.
