Michael J. Sciotti Lectures on HR Policies and Practices in New York

Syracuse, New York Hancock Estabrook, LLP, Counselors at Law, announced that Michael J. Sciotti will be speaking on topic of “HR Policies and Practices in New York”.

Mr. Sciotti holds a law degree and a LL.M. from the Syracuse University College of Law and a bachelor of science from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a partner with the Firm and the leader of Labor and Employment Practice Group. His practice area includes jury trials, investigations, labor audits, supervisory and employee training, and claims under Employee Retirement Income Security Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, New York State Human Rights Law, NYS Workers’ Compensation Law, NYS Labor Law, as well as employment agreement disputes.

Mr. Sciotti has spoken at numerous seminars on a wide variety of labor and employment topics, and is a mediator, arbitrator and early neutral evaluator for the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
