Maureen E. Maney Sworn in President of Central New York Women’s Bar Association

Syracuse, New York Hancock Estabrook, LLP is pleased to announce that Maureen E. Maney will be sworn in as president of the Central New York Women’s Bar Association by the Hon. Margaret Cangilos-Ruiz today at 5:30 pm at the Delavan Art Gallery at 501 W. Fayette Street.

Ms. Maney’s law practice concentrates on civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels. She has experience in commercial litigation as well as personal injury and product liability claims and has represented hospitals, the trucking industry, financial institutions and individuals. Ms. Maney is a member of the Litigation, Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights and Labor & Employment practice groups.

She is a member of the New York State (Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law and Trial Lawyers Section) and Onondaga County Bar Associations. Ms. Maney is a member of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, Delegate, Judicial Screening Committee, the Defense Research Institute (Trucking Law Committee) and Junior League of Syracuse, Secretary.

She is a graduate of Albany Law School of Union University (J.D., magna cum laude) and Le Moyne College (B.A., summa cum laude).
