Each Kaye Scholar is presented with her award during a program that will take place in the Ceremonial Courtroom of the Southern District of New York in conjunction with the presentation of the Shira A. Scheindlin Award for Excellence in the Courtroom, an award presented to female litigators who have had distinguished careers in the courtroom in either the Federal or State Courts in New York and who have shown a commitment to mentoring young attorneys.
