Martin L. Fried Joins Hancock Estabrook, LLP
Syracuse, New York Hancock Estabrook, LLP, Counselors at Law, is pleased to announce that Martin L. Fried has become Of Counsel to the Firm in the Tax Practice Group.
Mr. Fried, the Crandall Melvin Professor of Wills and Trusts at Syracuse University College of Law, has over 35 years of experience in personal, corporate, real estate and estate taxation. He is the author of Taxation of Securities Transactions and numerous articles on taxation and trust and estates. Mr. Fried is a member of the American, New York State and Onondaga County Bar Associations. He is a director for the Onondaga Bar Association Foundation, a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a member of the New York State Bar Association President’s Committee on Access to Justice.
He is a graduate of New York University School of Law (LL.M. in Taxation), Columbia Law School (J.D.) and Antioch College (B.A.).
