John L.Murad, Jr. Inducted Into American College of Trial Lawyers
Syracuse, New York – Hancock Estabrook, LLP, Counselors at Law, is proud to announce that John L. Murad, Jr., Firm partner, has been inducted as a Fellow into the American College of Trial Lawyers. The induction ceremony took place before an audience of 730 persons during the recent 2005 Spring Meeting of the College at LaQuinta, California.
The American College of Trial Lawyers, founded in 1950, is widely considered to be the premier professional organization in America. It is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada. Fellowship in the College is by invitation, extended only after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill as advocates and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism and civility.
Mr. Murad has tried cases involving the defense of the business and health care community in state and federal courts for more than 20 years, and serves as a mediator for personal injury and commercial litigation matters for the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
Mr. Murad holds a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a bachelor of arts cum laude from Hamilton College. He is a member of the New York State and Onondaga County Bar Associations, International Association of Defense Counsel, Federation of Corporate and Defense Counsel and Loss Executives Association. He is the Board Chairman for the American Red Cross, Onondaga-Oswego Chapter and resides in the Town of Dewitt with his wife Renee L. James and their three children, Mathew, Bess and Patrick.
