John G. Powers Appointed Board President for McMahon-Ryan Child Advocacy Site
Syracuse, New York Hancock Estabrook, LLP, Counselors at Law, announced that John G. Powers, Firm partner, has been appointed President of the Board of Directors for the McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Site.
The McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Site supports and enhances child advocacy efforts in the community. The Child Advocacy Site’s purpose is to enhance and provide support to the existing community efforts to remedy and mitigate the effects of child abuse. The Site serves as liaison and coordinator for the multiple disciplines within the community working on behalf of abused children.
Mr. Powers’ law practice focuses on business and commercial litigation in both federal and state court. He resides in the Town of Onondaga with his wife Ellen and their four children.
