Janet Callahan Presents at CenterState CEO’s Annual Economic Champions Luncheon

CenterState CEO’s Annual 2015 Economic Champions Luncheon (http://www.centerstateceo.com/) took place on October 14. This sold out event celebrated outstanding local businesses and organizations for their contributions to the growth of the region’s economy. This year’s theme was “Celebrating CNY’s Business Legacy” and honored businesses marking major milestones and company anniversaries for their enduring impact on the community.

To recognize Hancock Estabrook’s contribution to the community for the past 125 years (and counting!), Managing Partner Janet D, Callahan was a Featured Speaker, along with Jim Fox, CEO of O’Brien & Gere, and Tim Kennedy, President of Syracuse Media Group. This panel was selected by CenterState to “provide a window into the path these leaders have followed to help their companies navigate change, seize opportunities and tackle challenges to enable enduring success.” The panelists each spoke to the over 600 people in attendance on topics such as their companies’ commitment to community service and strategies for long-term growth.

Rob Simpson, President of CenterState CEO, Carol Fletcher, President of CR Fletcher Associates, and Congressman John Katko (who gave Hancock Estabrook a personal shout-out) were some of the other presenters at this event.
