Together, law student Julian Harrison and one of Syracuse’s oldest law firms, Hancock Estabrook, LLP, are forging a relationship each hopes will promote greater diversity in the legal profession.
After an interview process conducted by the OCBA Diversity & Inclusion Committee last fall, Harrison was named the bar association’s first Diversity & Inclusion Legal Intern. The committee spent the previous year crafting criteria and discerning which local law firm might support and best fit such an internship.
