Hancock Estabrook, LLP is pleased to announce that Anna Melo and Giovanni Malpezzi have joined the Firm as associate attorneys.
Anna E. Melo is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, where she served as a Legal Communications and Research Teaching Assistant for two years, as a Senior Research Associate with the Syracuse University Innovation Law Center and as the Technology Editor of the Journal of Science and Technology. Ms. Melo received an advanced certificate in Technology Commercialization for her concentration in intellectual property law during law school. During her tenure at Syracuse Law, Ms. Melo was a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Richard Latin, a Summer Law Clerk for the New York State Assembly, an Extern with Upstate Medical’s General Counsel’s Office, and an Extern with Syracuse University’s Office of Technology Transfer.
Giovanni J. Malpezzi is a graduate of Albany Law School of Union University, where he served as a Member of the Albany Law Review. Throughout law school, Mr. Malpezzi gained valuable experience interning with several prominent firms in Upstate New York.
Ms. Melo and Mr. Malpezzi were recently admitted to practice in New York State.
