National Public Employer Labor Relations Association, “Hiring and Firing: Avoiding Pitfalls and How to Remain Proactive”

On April 8, 2024, Whitney M. Kummerow, and Emily A. Middlebrook, will be speaking at the Annual Training Conference of the National Public Employer Labor Relations Association in Savannah, Georgia.  The title of their program is “Hiring and Firing: Avoiding Pitfalls and How to Remain Proactive.”

Their presentation will address best practices and avoiding pitfalls for the hiring and termination processes. In particular, it will review job advertisements, descriptions, interview questions, and how to determine the best time to separate a problematic employee.
