Hancock Estabrook, LLP, a respected law firm in Upstate New York, is seeking a full-time Paralegal to join its Ithaca office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong and versatile knowledge base, with experience in the areas of real estate and corporate law.
Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents related to corporate and real estate practice areas.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients and third parties involved in transactions.
- Conduct legal research and provide summaries for attorney review.
- Prepare closing documents and real estate transactions, including title reviews and settlement statements.
- Assist in the formation and management of corporate entities.
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate and 2+ years of legal experience required.
- Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following practice areas—real estate or corporate law—with a preference for corporate experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.

The pay range for this position is $50,000 – $60,000 annually and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications and skill set.
