Hancock Estabrook, LLP, a leading Upstate New York law firm, is seeking an associate to join our firm’s Labor & Employment practice group. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience advising private and/or public-sector employers on Federal and New York State labor and employment law matters, and litigating claims in federal and New York State courts. The ability to write in a clear, concise and effective manner is a required skill for this position. Candidates must also have excellent verbal communication and advocacy skills, and the ability to perform quick and reliable legal research. Candidates who possess these skills but have limited knowledge of labor and employment law are encouraged to apply. Candidates who have experience representing plaintiffs will also be considered.
