Zachary Blodgett is a corporate attorney focused on complex business formations, financing and transactional matters. His experience includes negotiating and managing government contracts, loan agreements, mortgages, commercial leases, business associate agreements, waivers and releases, medical agreements, contracts for goods and services and consultant agreements.
Previously, Mr. Blodgett was an associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft. He also acted as associate in-house counsel to The Salvation Army, Greater New York Division for 6 years, where he was responsible for negotiating and drafting all of the company’s agreements, managing $50 million in annual government-funded contracts and helping to develop a system of compliance for the company’s 60 program sites.
Most recently, Mr. Blodgett was in-house counsel for a New York City start-up company that leverages data and technology to help nonprofit clients increase their organizational impact. In that position, he provided legal and business advice to the senior management team, assisted the senior management team with business development, and was responsible for drafting legal documents, including confidentiality agreements, employment agreements, employment policies and client agreements.
Mr. Blodgett received his bachelor’s degree from University of Pennsylvania in 2005 and his law degree from American University, Washington College of Law, magna cum laude, in 2008. He is admitted to practice law in New York State.
