Michael G. Marrero is an associate the Firm’s Real Estate and Litigation practice areas. Mr. Marrero assists a diverse portfolio of clients with various residential and commercial real estate matters, including the purchase and sale of real property, lease negotiations and transactions, foreclosures, and landlord/tenant disputes. Mr. Marrero also represents clients in the areas of commercial litigation, products liability litigation, and other civil disputes. Mr. Marrero routinely assists clients with risk management strategies and navigating the legal process such to limit exposure and obtain the most efficient outcome.
In 2020, the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Onondaga County named Mr. Marrero a “Pro Bono Champion” for his contributions in providing pro bono legal services and, specifically, his work in assisting individuals with various landlord/tenant and litigation matters.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Marrero clerked with the New York State Attorney General’s Office in Syracuse and the United States Attorney’s Office in Buffalo. He is a graduate of Le Moyne College and received his Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where he served as the Managing Editor for the Buffalo Law Review and was the recipient of the Carlos C. Alden Award.
