Anneliese Aliasso (“Anni”) is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation and Real Estate practices. She frequently represents clients in connection with residential real estate matters, including the purchase and sale of real property and lease negotiations. Anni also engages in litigation involving landlord/tenant disputes and foreclosure matters.
In her litigation practice, Anni represents a multitude of clients ranging from individuals, healthcare professionals, small to mid-size businesses, not-for-profit organizations and municipalities in state and federal litigation. Anni also regularly is involved in litigating Article 78 challenges to determinations by public bodies involving environmental and land-use disputes. Anni is a certified e- Discovery Specialist (CEDS).
Representative Matters
- Represented a local pest-control company in a dispute regarding payment for professional services and obtained the full payment of outstanding invoices for the company.
- Represented a local business in an eviction matter and obtained a warrant of eviction and judgment for all outstanding rent owed.
- Represented an out-of-state business in staying the enforcement of judgment on grounds of breach of contract and improper business practices after the merchant advance lender improperly entered the judgment by confession against an out-of-state defendant.
