Our Firm

Hancock & Estabrook, LLP is one of Upstate New York's leading law firms. We represent clients in a number of different industries, offering counsel and representation on a wide array of legal topics. Our Firm was founded in 1889 and has continuously maintained offices in downtown Syracuse since that time. To this day, the Firm's history is carried on by the founder's grandson, Stewart F. Hancock, Jr., who rejoined the Firm after a distinguished career serving on New York State's highest tribunal, the Court of Appeals. Other partners of our Firm have gone on to serve as judges and public officers, including a New York State Commissioner of Taxation, a New York State Attorney General and a United States Congressman.
