Christopher R. Smith is an associate in the Real Estate and Zoning & Land Use Practices. He focuses his practice on real estate, land use and zoning law. Mr. Smith is experienced in representing purchasers, sellers and lenders in residential real estate transactions, as well as actions to quiet title under Real Property Actions and Proceedings Law. Additionally, he has experience in preparing documents for SEQRA compliance, subdivision of residential property, Mined Land Reclamation Law, representing municipalities and individuals in local zoning and land use matters, and representing businesses in a variety of federal and state environmental compliance matters.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Smith was an Assistant County Attorney in Fairmont, Minnesota, and the principal law clerk for the Honorable Robert D. Walker, District Court Judge, in Martin County, Minnesota.

  • Aided in the closing of a multimillion-dollar deal on behalf of a national fuel distribution company that supplies aviation fuel and deicing fluid to more than 450 airports throughout North America.
